Otley Music Festival aims to celebrate the town’s extraordinary talent while simultaneously raising money for good causes. Although we endeavour to keep our costs to an absolute minimum, there are some that we cannot avoid. To this end, we are hugely indebted to our sponsors, who have kindly agreed to help cover some of those costs so that we can give more to our good causes. They are as follows:
NEWSTEAD & WALKER SOLICITORS of Otley are one of our main sponsors for 2024. In recognition of their significant financial assistance they are being recognised as sponsoring one of our nationally acclaimed headline acts, Hannah Sanders & Ben Savage (Saturday 8th June, Otley Parish Church) and top local act The Jon Palmer Acoustic Band (Sunday 2nd June, Black Horse).
APOLLO 3D of Otley are our other main sponsor for 2024. They are digital marketing specialists, providing virtual tours, website design and development, drone videos and location surveys. In recognition of their significant financial assistance, they are being recognised as sponsoring one of our nationally acclaimed headline acts, Maddie Morris (Friday 7th June, Otley Parish Church) and top local act Coaltrain (Sunday 2nd June, Black Horse).
Terje Schea is general manager of the Norwegian company DIALOG but he lives locally to Otley and is taking part in Otley Music Festival as a musician in two different acts. Terje has been very generous in his support of our festival and in recognition of this he is sponsoring 3 local acts: “Unexpected” (Saturday 1st June, Black Horse), “One Foot in the Groove” (Sunday 9th June, Horse & Farrier) and Iona Lane (Friday 7th June, Otley Parish Church).
THE OLD COCK is Otley’s multi-award winning independent ale house. This is the third year that Lee, Linda and their team have supported our festival. In recognition of their significant financial assistance they are being recognised as sponsoring one of our nationally acclaimed headline acts, Katie Spencer (Saturday 8th June, Otley Parish Church).
THE BLACK HORSE PH, situated right at the centre of Otley, is a very welcome addition to the venues hosting gigs as part of Otley Music Festival and will host the entire first weekend across the stables and the upstairs function room. Huge thanks to manager Jen and her staff for their support. In recognition of their effort, the Black Horse will be sponsors of Luigi ana da Boys, who perform in the pub’s stables at 6pm on Saturday 1st June.
OTLEY TOWN COUNCIL have been generous in their financial support of Otley Music Festival 2024. In recognition of this they are sponsoring the wonderful George Boomsma, who headlines the first session of the festival on Friday 31st May at the Black Horse.
THE HORSE & FARRIER on Bridge Street is this year providing us with a venue for our grand finale, as well as our festival open mic on Thursday 6th June. Huge thanks to new owners Brew York and their team for their support. In recognition of their significant effort, The Horse & Farrier will be sponsoring the fantastic Mr Lovepants, who perform in the pub on the evening of Sunday 9th June.
THE BOOKSHOP ON THE SQUARE is an independent bookshop right in the heart of Otley. Huge thanks to Sara for her kind donation. The shop will be sponsoring the excellent “We Three Things”, who perform in Otley Parish Church on the evening of Saturday 8th June.
MAYPOLE FISHERIES is an excellent fish & chip restaurant and take away opposite the maypole in Otley. Huge thanks to Lee and his team for their kind donation. They will be sponsoring “The Fabulous Mustard Brothers”, who perform in the function room at the Black Horse on the evening of Saturday 1st June.
WESTGATE ARCADE is a shopping arcade just west of the central traffic lights in Otley. Huge thanks to David for his kind contribution. The arcade will be sponsoring Chris Manners, who performs in Otley Parish Church on the evening of Saturday 8th June.
CATE & RHODRI PERMAN – Cate and her dog Rhodri are both kindly making donations in support of our festival. Cate will be sponsoring The Grove Band, who perform in Otley Parish Church on the evening of Friday 7th June and Rhodri will be sponsoring Jon Budworth & Hill View, who perform the same evening.
SANDY LAY needs no introduction as one of Otley’s hard-working elected representatives on Leeds City Council. Huge thanks to Sandy for his kind donation. He will be sponsoring C.J. Smith, our headline act in Otley Parish Church for the afternoon session on Saturday 8th June.
WHARFEDALE EMBROIDERY have kindly agreed to sponsor this year’s festival. Huge thanks to Liz Frankland and the rest of the staff for their kind donation. They will be sponsoring Wychbury, who will be performing in the Black Horse on the first evening of the festival (Friday 31st May).

Although it is now too late for any further donations to be officially recognised in our programme, we would still be delighted to accept further offers of sponsorship and these will still receive a mention on this page.
